How to play
Each player owns one side of the arena. Move your paddle along it and send the ball back; every ball that gets past you costs a life, and you start with four. When a player runs out of lives the arena changes shape around the players who are left, so a match that starts as an octagon can end as a duel.
- On a computer — move with A / D or the mouse.
- On a phone or tablet — drag anywhere on the screen to move.
Power-ups
Tokens appear in the arena during a rally. Drive the ball through one and it goes to whoever touched the ball last.
Extra life
One more life, up to six.
Grow
Your paddle gets longer for a while.
Shrink
Every other paddle gets shorter for a while.
Overdrive
The ball speeds up for eight seconds.
Knocked out? Become a trickster
Losing your last life doesn't end your match. You stay in as a trickster and drop hazards into the arena to trouble the players still standing:
Pegs
Posts the ball bounces off.
Wells
Spinning rings that bend the ball's path one way.
Bars
Rotating bars that sweep across the arena.
A hazard shows where it will land a moment before it is live, so players can always see it coming. On a computer, click the arena to drop one and press 1, 2 or 3 to pick which; on a phone, tap a hazard to arm it, then tap the arena.
Questions
Is PPong free?
Yes. The game is paid for by ads, which are shown on the menus and sometimes between matches — never while you are playing a match. Nothing in the game is sold for real money.
Do I need an account?
No. A guest account is made for you the first time you play. Signing in with Google is optional.
How many players can play?
From two up to eight in one arena. In a quick match, bots fill empty seats when few people are online.
Can I play with friends?
Yes: create a room, then send your friends its code or the link from COPY LINK.
Your account and Google sign-in
The game creates a guest account for you automatically the first time you play, so your coins and progress are saved without signing in. Signing in with Google is optional: it links that progress to your Google account so you can keep it on another device. The game uses your Google account only to sign you in, and keeps your email address with your game account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile (DELETE ACCOUNT).
Where to play
